Chen Xiaoshuang’s Company in Nepal
Chen Xiaoshuang is the General Manager of Tianli and Vice President of the Overseas Chinese Association in Nepal.
Chen Xiaoshuang was born in 1963 in the People’s Republic of China and graduated from Nanjing Aviation Institute in 1980.
He joined Beijing Tianli Economic and Cultural Company in 2007 and 2015 and then transferred to Tibet Tianli Publishing Culture Company.
Chen Xiaoshuang came to Nepal in the year 2016 in September. Nepal Tianli Publishing Culture Company is committed to publishing books and organizing cultural exchanges between the people of China and Nepal.
Since its establishment in 2014, it has published nearly 100 types of books in English, Nepali, Tibetan, and other languages.
The company also publishes the English-language magazine Himalayan Story and the Tibetan-language newspaper Tibet Today.
The company’s China Book Center has introduced several thousand books and thousands of copies from well-known Chinese publishers and writers.
There are ten chain bookstores in Nepal. The Nepal Tianli Book Corner has been set up at Tribhuvan University, Kathmandu University, and Kathmandu Valley Library.
The company actively organizes and participates in various cultural exchange activities between China and Nepal and has done many works for cultural exchange and friendship between Nepal and China.
The parent company of Nepal Tianli Publishing and Culture is Tibet Tianli Economic and Artistic Company, a Chinese Tibetan enterprise that borders Nepal. We hope to have better business opportunities in Nepal.
At the same time, we also hope to do some practical work for the cultural and commercial exchanges between China and Nepal through our efforts.
We have also established a company under Nepal Tianli called “China Incubation Company,” the only Chinese service company registered in Nepal. We hope to advise and help Chinese people who invest in Nepal.
Chen Xiaoshuang is the vice president of Chinese enterprises in Nepal.
At present, more than 20 Chinese enterprises are our customers. This business will also be the direction of our efforts to operate well. Mr. Chen Xiaoshuang’s views about Nepal Nepal is a beautiful country, especially Kathmandu Valley.
The city is gorgeous, with a pleasant climate, full of flowers and green (it would be perfect without air pollution). I love this country very much. The government makes me feel very kind.
If Nepal focuses on economic development and improving people’s livelihood, the people here will be happier. The people here are not competitive and optimistic. The cost of their pursuit of happiness is not high.
Nepalese are very friendly to China. I made many friends in Nepal. In my experience, Nepalese are simple and kind. They are very enthusiastic about people. The Chinese are peace-loving and willing to be friendly with their neighbors.
Chen Xiaoshuang also hopes China and Nepal will become good neighbors for generations. The Plan of Chen Xiaoshuang, the parent of Nepal Tianli Publishing and Culture Company, is Tibet Tianli Economic and Cultural Company, a Chinese Tibetan enterprise. It borders Nepal.
